The fans didn’t get much time to rest as the IMCA Stock Car feature had them on their
feet for most of the race as well. Selden’s Jason Rogers took the lead on the opening circuit with J.R. McCreery within
a car-length, trailed by Kelly Ford, Jason Davis and Nathan Glendening. The top four remained the same through lap 5 when
Glendening stalled on the next lap. On the restart, Jason Schoenberger of Russell took the point as he and Rogers ran side-by-side
and nose-to-tail. Caution flags on laps 9 and 10 kept the field bunched. Josh Hudson, winner of the March Frost Fest at Norton,
had made his way to third on the restart and took command on lap 14, passing Schoenberger and Rogers. But Hudson’s chance
at victory went by the wayside on lap 18 when debris from his race car caused a caution and he had to restart at the back.
With 3 laps to go, Schoenberger led the field back to green but gave way to Jeff Hunter of Henderson, CO, who held on for
an exciting finish over Schoenberger and Rogers. Cory Struckhoff and Jason Davis rounded out the top five in the 19-car field.
Struckhoff, Rogers and McCreery took the checkers in the 3 heat races.

Jason Schoenberger of Russell had a twenty-four lap right rear tire on the back of his car. Unfortunately
for him, the IMCA Stock Car A Feature race was twenty-five laps long. The winner of heat one took the lead on the first lap
of the race, at times challenged by heat winners Tyler Hahn of Stockton and Josh Hudson. On the last lap, Schoenberger appeared
to have a healthy lead on Hudson going into corner four, but his tire gave out, and Hudson had the lead coming out of four
and at the finish line. Hahn ended his night with a healthy third place finish, while rookie Brett Behrends finished in fourth.
Troy Attwood of Blue Hill finished in fifth place in the twenty-three car field.
